First Post

So this is how it begins. Literally, this is the first post on the official Miner blog. I've been noticing that Kristen has been perusing quite a few of these blogs lately and it seems like a fun way in which to keep in touch with friends and family as well as share things of importance and/or interest. It will be interesting to see what this turns out to be. I predict Kristen will keep it updated with info on our family along with pictures and updates. I, on the other hand, will probably post useless rants and silly videos (see below), pictures, stories etc. Or maybe not. Maybe I'll get downright serious and write about the philosophical dilemmas facing our society today. I guess we'll see. The point is, if you're still reading, that this site will hopefully provide a little bit of everything. So maybe in one visit you will get updated on our lives, a good laugh, and reassurance that you are in fact normal. Kristen and I look forward to making this site a good read for you and maybe a bit of an outlet for us. So for this first post, I'll just leave it at that and post something more substantial later.
