If you had a microfiber couch or have experience with one, please share your thoughts. Positive or Negative. We are having a hard time deciding if microfiber or leather is right for us. Danke!
Hi, I'm Susan Sean's moms friend. I met you at your wedding shower. Cute baby! Micro Fiber for young families nothing will stain that stuff. The only thing that I really suggest is that the back cushions aren't attached. If they are when somebody sits on them they pull away and in time the fabric tears. Even on leather because mine have. Never again will I buy attached cushions.
i vote microfiber as well. as long as you clean marks off ASAP it will not stain. we have leather and our friends' kids have done a bit of damage to them. nothing we can't live with. the couches are replaceable!
hey! we have leather and a micro chair. the leather is WAY better with a little baby. she has spit up, peed and pooped on the leather and it cleans off great. believe me. you want leather. microfiber is very iffy and am paranoyd about her spitting up on it.
hello friends! i know it's been a while since you posted this... hopefully you didn't already buy couches... but i thought i'd put my 2 cents in. we have a microfiber chair in noah's room that has had a lot of.. stuff... on it and cleaned up amazingly. one time when he was only like 3 days old he literally had projectile poop that sprayed all over the ottoman (also microfiber) and it just wiped right off. i've also heard that leather is good as far as wiping things off, but is a lot easier to get damaged once Gavin starts getting a little more "destructive" with toys and other objects. (At least, if he's anything like Noah!!) so there you have it! good luck!
