Family Date Night

A few weekends ago, we went on a family date to Kangaroo Zoo. It is basically a warehouse filled with giant inflatables to fulfill every child's dream. Gavin was terrified at first and would NOT move from Sean's arms. We had to acclimate him slowly by sitting on the sides on the toddler inflatable. Then he stood gripping our hands along the sides of the toy. Then he took one bounce and one step. Then he took two steps away and two bounces. Then he was gone, full of smiles and giggles. He was in heaven once we figured out the joy that was possible. Every time he slid down the slide (with Sean's help) he would exclaim 'Weeeeeeeeee.' Needless to say, Gavin was exhausted (as was Sean who had to help boost Gavin up on all the slides). But boy, Gavin had fun!

Sometimes he landed face first at the bottom of the slides.

He pointed to the giant whale, and shouted 'Fishy'

Nothing but smiles.

'Weeeeeeeeeee'

This girl would not leave Gavin alone.
