If you have a preschooler at home who watches Disney, then you probably have already met Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Jake battles his pirate problems along side his friends Cubby and Izzy against Peter Pan's Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. And since Gavin had a pirate birthday this year and he adores Jake, the decision for the boys' costumes was an easy one.

And here is a quick comparison. Jake and Cubby do not sport the eye patches but I wanted to solidify any doubts about their pirate status in case people wondered. Plus I questioned whether or not Logan would wear his headpiece.
Big props to Logan though who wore his blue bandana the entire night! This is the kid who normally refuses anything and everything he can control.
We happened to be in Utah this Halloween so Gavin happily got to Trick-or-Treat with his cousins Mason (werewolf) and Carston (skeleton).
It's hard to be believe that this 7 year old was a tiny baby when Sean and I got married.
Gavin was giddy with delight for the night's activities.
And then a werewolf enters the shot. Logan takes note.
So we insert a skeleton between them but Logan is no dummy.

Oh my gosh! They both look so cute! I love their costumes and they totally look like the cartoons.
I love these pictures! I was going crazy and didn't get any of my boys that night. So glad you guys were there and that the boys had fun!
