Since Gavin's birthday fell in the summer and just a week after preschool ended, his teachers allowed us to celebrate his birthday a little early with his beloved classmates. Gavin requested a cookie cake this year with chocolate and vanilla frosting so his friends could pick their favorite flavor of choice. Thinking of others comes naturally to Gavin and he is such an example to us older folks sometimes.
