Around these parts, we like to think we are patient, obedient parents. Wishful thinking, I know. So when the pediatrician told us to wait until six months to introduce solids we waited. Logan seemed interested in food long before then but still patience won and we waited. Well magically on Logan's six month well-check, the doctor gave us the green light. Since we introduced Gavin to carrots first, Logan followed in his brother's footsteps.
Now let me set-up the introduction scene for you. After a day of vaccine shots and a hour car ride to my father's, we arrived close to bed time. We quickly try to situate everything for the big introduction. Carrots, check. Seat on the kitchen counter, check. Gavin running around in the background wildly, check. Logan already sensitive from shots, fatigue, and hunger, check check check. Okay, let's introduce!
Suspicious of something coming...

Having to fight his big brother out of the chair first.

Finally seated but still unsure of the situation.

Contemplative and hesitant.

Success! He absolutely loves solids! Cannot get enough!
