The Babe Turned One

Sadly this post is long overdue but I was not about to advertise that we were home alone with Sean literally half way across the world at the time. Plus I ran into computer problems which set this post back even further. Without further ado...

After we dropped off Sean at the Jacksonville Airport, we stayed at my father's for a very long birthday weekend. The babe turned one and we were all so happy to celebrate.

We went to Logan's first year well check this morning and he measures 32.5 inches long which puts him in the 96%tile. I reviewed his baby book to note that except for birth he has consistently been in the 90 or higher %tile for height. We might have a giant in our family, or he just might have peaked early too. Either way, he is quite capable of holding his own when Gavin engages him in some friendly, big brother play.

As part of the birthday and beautiful weather celebration, we traveled to Spring Park in downtown Green Cove Springs for some play time. Spring Park is officially my favorite park in Florida to date (and that saying something since this state has so many great parks).

The birthday boy was in heaven, albeit ready for his afternoon nap once play time was over.He is such a stud and knows it too.
