This past weekend we left the bubble of Peachtree City and traveled north to Downtown Atlanta. We heard Piedmont Park was worth the visit but to Gavin's disappointment we did not take the golf cart. We explored the farmer's market, two playgrounds and a couple lakes inside the park's fence. Overall, it was a glorious balance of nature amongst the hustle of the city. If you have ever explored New York's Central Park, Piedmont Park had that similar feeling.

And then to balance our day out, we took the quick drive west to the consumerism of IKEA. It was a good day.

We took the kids to that park. It feels like it is straight out of Sesame Street. Love it.
These pictures are amazing. The lighting in the second one is just gorgeous!
