Logan's right eye has always fascinated me. It's been that way since birth. His iris has a segment of color unlike the rest of his iris. Like a piece of pie that wanted to be a different flavor than the rest of the pie. If you look closely, the color variation is between the 10 and 12 position of a clock. Maybe this segment could not make up it's mind during the womb and rebelled. I am lucky that this 'birth mark' has grown with him for I never purposely documented it when he was younger. Regardless, I think his eyes are beautiful and as his mother I could stare at them all day (and am lucky enough that I get too). I recently stumbled upon the picture below which highlights the iris pretty well. Keep in mind his right eye is really on the left of the picture. I simply adore this sweet, little man.
If you need to click on the image to enlarge. The segment appears to be brown while the rest of his iris is somewhat hazel. However when he was born, his eyes had more blue in them and the segment was even darker like almost black. I told you it fascinated me.

Kristen! My Logan's right eye has that same area! He has had it from birth exactly like your Logan's eye! Very interesting. I'm going to post Logan's Self portrait on my blog for you to see. I haven't been able to document my Logan's eye quite as well as your picture! Good job!
