Tonight Gavin and I went on a date to our nearest Chick-fil-A for their Mother-Son Date Knight. It was so fun dining alone with my oldest. He will be four next month and I just love the young boy he is growing up to be. He waved to everyone on the path as we traveled to eat, made me stop to pick up other's trash they left behind, and opened the door for me like a gentleman (after some encouragement). What a stud!
Chick-fil-A had decorated the place in true medieval fashion and Gavin loved it. Upon entering, Gavin was crowned a knight for the evening by the infamous cow.

Gavin and I sat at our reserved table which even had a tablecloth. Our dinner was then brought to us while we colored a shield and played medieval games. There was a balloon master walking around creating sword balloons for all the boys too. Gavin was bouncing off the walls with excitement.
Overall, our date was quick and cheap but highly enjoyable.

What a fun date! Chick-fil-a is so fun when they do things like this! I have to also say that his eye looks wonderful! Modern medicine does wonders! Lucky boy!
SO precious! Love that idea! I would love to do something like that with Delson. I'm glad you got to do that!
