The boys were playing together beautifully today.
Just like brothers who happen to be best friends.
I quietly laid on Logan's bed watching them at their Mickey table creating and destroying things with their Magformers. I started thinking about our life and how simple our happiness is right now. Wrestling with daddy when he comes home from work, eating popsicles on the porch, and playing with the bubble guns in the driveway.

Life is simple at the moment and I am grateful for that. This September holds major changes for the Miners. Gavin starts kindergarten and with it comes the confines of school schedules. Logan will start preschool and he is beyond excited to be just like brother. Then shortly after that dust settles, we will gratefully welcome a newborn in the house.
So for a moment today as I sat there quietly observing the boys, I gave a silent prayer of thanks for simple happiness. Our boys love life and love being happy, which in turn makes us two simply happy parents.
