After a fabulous but exhausting night, a day of total relaxation was in order.
First came reading in the cool, crisp morning air.
Little Critter Goes to the Sea Park got rave reviews from Gavin.
Then a quick dip in a pool only a half foot deep was in order.
At some point, we had to start thinking about dinner.
Too much relaxing can cause starvation.
What else would you have done with two or three dozen of crabs?
During the day, the men built Marilyn an awesome crab cleaning station right off her dock.
It was the perfect creation for cleaning the crabs right on the spot.
Fresh out the crab pots. Waiting to be cleaned.
Once cleaned, the crabs took a journey into the steamer.
Look at that beautiful blue coloring.
It translates into deliciousness later.
The end product is messy but oh-so tasty.
Caught that day. Cleaned that afternoon. Devoured that night.
That's freshness you cannot beat.
I do not know what Marilyn's neighbor was thinking when he left Gavin drive his boat.
Gavin has a short attention span and was very eager to turn the steering wheel in every direction.
Looks like Gavin has some heavy thoughts about purchasing a boat in the future.
He better start saving his allowance (which he has not even started to receive yet).
