I knew it was inevitable.

With two boys, I knew it was only inevitable that I would end up in the ER for one of them to get stitches. Logan technically already beat Gavin back to the hospital, but Gavin's visit today was an injury. A minor (and Miner, get it?) injury at that. It simply needed three, quick stitches and we were out the door.

Did I say quick? Oh, I was referring to the treatment we received not the actual time we were in the ER. Nope, that was just two minutes shy of four hours exactly. Gavin's simple stitch-up got trumped. Apparently, one socially responsible mother thought it would be a good idea to put all four of her children in the back row of her sedan. Of course since there were not enough seat belts, she thought none of the kids should be belted. But I cannot blame her for someone else broadsiding the left side of the car. How was she suppose to know she would get in an accident later that day. Grr... Some of my disgust is shown in the picture below.

And what was my sweet baby boy doing before he got this awesome gash? Dancing in the living room with me to 'Can't Wait to be King' from Disney's 'The Lion King.' You should have seen our moves. They were pretty sweet.

Poor Gavin! I'm glad he was able to be fixed, though.

Delson says "OWEEEE." I'm sorry. That is a huge bummer. I'll tell you what happened to Kambria but I am a terrible Mother and that is why it happened so I will have to tell you in private. It is too terrible to post on the blog. I'm glad it was only 3 stitches but I'm sorry you had to be in there for 4 hours. Big Bummer of a day.
