A couple weeks ago, the boys and I had the opportunity to surprise Sean's extended family with a visit to Utah. The evening of our arrival my mother-in-law invited everyone over 'to show them something.' Some of my favorite guesses of the surprise: she got a new car, she was pregnant, or that she created a life size cut-out of her mother and father. Sean's uncle even guessed 'Sean' to which we texted back that we aren't that lucky. Sean was at home studying for finals after all.
We were having so much fun that the trip was over before we knew it. It was great to be surrounded by so many family and friends again. We even got lucky since the annual Kramer family (my mother-in-law's side) Christmas party was scheduled that Saturday we were in town. It never snowed while we were there but only the morning after we left. I am still deciding whether I was happy or sad we missed the snow fall. We sure had plenty to do though, and in fact we could have used another week just to visit everyone/everything we wanted to see.
The boys and I were having a hard time adjusting to the time zone difference at first. Evident by the 5:30 mornings and Gavin consistently napping during the day again.

My mother-in-law and I share a love for children's books. Look at the lot of them!

Now for some pictures of the boys just relaxing around the house.
