Mapleton, UT: Four Wheeling Fun

One sunny afternoon, Grandpa Miner let Gavin and Logan try out a four-wheeler just their size.  Logan needed a second driver still, but Gavin had a driving lesson that afternoon.  Gavin loves to go fast, so one of us had to hold the back bar the four-wheeler to slow him in the yard while he learned to steer.  But that boy was in heaven, just look at the bottom right picture.

 

 

Logan took his turn with Uncle Chase and Sean too, but mostly watched Gavin drive and laugh while grandpa ran behind him.
 

Here is a group shot of the family: Diesel the dog is front, with Uncle Chase and Gavin in the helmet talking, Kortney is on the bench, Grandma Jeana is restraining Major the dog inside the house, while Grandpa Miner is on the steps watching Logan and Sean ride.
 

 

And now for the good part!  On one particular getaway, Gavin drove the four-wheeler up the tree trunk!   Watch it in live action here, courtesy of Sean's phone.  Maybe you had to be there, but it was hilarious!  He was so calm and collected afterwards, and jumped right back on to ride some more.  Luckily, grandpa was right behind him and Uncle Chase quickly at his side.  As for his parents, we were happily recording and taking pictures in between the laughter.  
 


Gavin had so much that afternoon, and rightly so driving up a tree!  Logan probably would say the same, if he could talk.  We love our boys!
