Orlando, FL: SeaWorld

Too Many Pictures Alert!

It was Friday, May 25th and we spent the day at beautiful SeaWorld.  Gavin might grow up thinking that he gets his own personal birthday vacation since his big day usually coincides with Memorial Day Weekend.  What a lucky kid!

Our day at SeaWorld was awesome and not too crowded, but man was it hot!  Hanging out around those tanks of water did something mentally to cool us off though.  It was a long day in the sun, but the boys were troopers and we all had a blast.

We started off the day riding the Manta and child swapping with the boys.  Talk about a crazy roller coaster!  Meanwhile, the boys and which ever adult was not on the Manta watched the dolphin show next door.

Then we petted some sting-rays and Daddy won Logan a dolphin from the arcade games.  We came up with the very original name Flipper.

More dolphins in a tank and then to the Sky Tower.

Gavin was so excited for this tall, air condition ride as were we since it was noon and 95 degrees.

Inside the Sky Tower.

SeaWorld had this amazing play space for the kids.  Climbing nets, tunnels, sand pit, pirate ship, and all kind of slides.  It was quite impressive.

The highlight of Gavin's day: the Shamu Roller Coaster.  He rode it back to back with each parent and still talks about how cool it was.

'Look, mom! No hands!'

Here was the crab ride that tickled his belly over and over again.  This ride was another highlight as he rode it twice and even once by himself!

We then caught the Shamu show.  It was Logan's wildest dream come true.  Logan acts like Shamu nonstop in the bathtub and the pool now.  He always shouts 'Mammu!' and its so cute we try not to correct it.

All of us had the same orange wrist band that Logan does below.  This all access pass was given to those who stayed in the hotels connected with the park.  This all access pass was magical and worth every penny.  We breezed through lines, like on Manta we waited 3 minutes while everyone else waited 65 minutes.  Magic, I tell you.

Here is Logan still in his monster phase terrorizing Gavin and a new friend.

The whole family!

The Underwater Shark Tunnel and the Pirate Island Show.

Sean and I then child swapped on the Kraken.  This ride felt like it went on forever, and I enjoyed every second too.  But really both Sean and I commented how crazy long the whole experience felt.

A quick ride on the Sea Guppies (similar to Disney's Teacups).

Another beautiful day and another beautiful family memory.
