Devil's Millhopper State Park

My best friends from high school came to town last weekend for a quick visit. And by quick visit I do mean less than 48 hours. Regardless of the time, it was great to have Cara and Anna around for a couple days. Gavin became quite attached to them and eventually started calling them both 'Carana.' We ate some yummy food and saw some awesome sights, but most importantly we thoroughly enjoyed their company.

One of our first stops happened to be a nature walk through Devil's Millhopper State Park. The park is a natural limestone sinkhole with a mini rain forest at the bottom. I would imagine the sights are much different in the spring time when the waters are flowing faster and green recovers the earth. So like Paynes Prairie, we will have to visit this park again before we leave town for another look.
