Occasionally I take too many pictures, and it can be a curse and a blessing.

Here is a quick Gavin story to go along with the photo above. Last Wednesday, Gavin and I arrived a few minutes early at church for me to teach a mid-week Book of Mormon class. Gavin usually goes to nursery while I teach but the nursery leaders were not there just yet. So Gavin proceeds to 'play' the piano. At first he bangs loudly in true boy fashion, but after being prompted to play slowly he strokes one key at a time. A tune forms but nothing recognizable until he starts singing 'Teach me to walk in the light of His love, Teach me to pray to my Father above.' The moment was then cut short when by a passerby commented how sweet his (loud but respectful) singing and playing was. Moments like these make motherhood so worth it.

Wow! I can't believe he can sing a whole song. That is impressive!
