Chesapeake got hit hard with a record snow storm the Sunday after Christmas. A whopping 13 inches, in fact. The most snow in 21 years! It was quite the buzz with all the locals, and rightfully so. We watched in amazement most of the day by the comfort and warmth of the roaring fire. And the recent stash Santa left behind the day before kept us happily entertained.

And then we got a little stir crazy and had to play!

Check out our AWESOME homemade snow boots: newspaper bags and duct tape.
It's what you do when you live in Florida and have no future need for snow boots.

Awesome! I actually got Delson the very same snow coat from Children's Place. I love it. And the only thing I don't have for him are snow boots because I can't find them now. So I may just have to keep copying you. haha....your boys are adorable and I love the train set Gavin got. Maybe Santa will have to get Delson the same thing next year!
I really like the pictures from the windows. I love seeing the drops.
