A few weeks ago, the kids and I traveled up north to visit Grandma. We had a swell time filled with good eats, great company, and hearty laughs. The weather was not perfect and I missed the sunshine a couple days, but the trip was not overshadowed by the weather. (Did you see what I just did there with 'overshadowed?' Clever, I know.)
We saw family and friends. We watched chick flicks. We had a slumber party. We had chick food. We went shopping. We (meaning Logan and I) slept in many mornings. We played outside. We (meaning I) assembled dressers from scratch. We went to the zoo. We went to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair. We got reacquainted with former teachers from high school. We had a blast. Um, more please...soon.
